Full Academic All-Big West Team

Irvine, Calif. - A total of 11 Pacific student-athletes were among the 106 student-athletes from the eight Big West Conference institutions who have earned Big West Academic All-Conference honors for the fall sports of women's volleyball, men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's cross country.

Graduate Jennifer Knox (Macungie, Penn.) and junior Julie Magud (Stockton, Calif.) represented the Pacific women's volleyball team.

The Tigers' women's soccer team led Pacific with six members on the Big West Academic All-Conference Team as seniors Catherine Betts (Piedmont, Calif.) and Carmen Padilla (San Jose, Calif.) were joined by juniors Audrey Booth (Salt Lake City, Utah), Natalie McCrackin (Rio Linda, Calif.), Mandi Van Dorn (Danville, Calif.) and Carla Vellutini, (Elk Grove, Calif.) in qualifying for the team.

The Pacific women's cross country team was represented by juniors Francesca Au (Concord, Calif.) and Meghan Mullen (San Francisco, Calif.) who were joined by sophomore Micaela Klaus (Peru, NY).

To be eligible to receive Big West Academic All-Conference recognition, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, complete one full academic year at the member institution prior to the season for which the award is being received (at least a sophomore academically), and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
