2009 (Sophomore):
Seeing time primarily as a reliever, Thomas spent a large part of the season as the Tigers' closer. He finished out the year with a 5.40 ERA and one win in 2009, but led all of Pacific's relievers with five saves on the year. Berolzheimer's five saves tied him for sixth place in Pacific single-season history with two other players in Tiger history. That puts him at nine career saves in two years with the Tigers, placing him third in Pacific's all-time saves list which is only nine shy of tying the all-time record in Tiger history. During his sophomore season, Thomas accrued 26.2 innings of work, including a three-inning start at Nevada on April 21 when he held the Wolf Pack scoreless in the 10-7 victory. Berolzheimer earned his only win of the season against No. 16 Cal Poly on April 10 when Pacific pulled out a 5-4 victory over the Mustangs. He tossed one scoreless inning out of the bullpen, striking out two batters to allow the Tigers to come from behind and win the game. Thomas held opponents scoreless 16 times during the 2009 season including a perfect stretch of five-consecutive games from April 28 to May 13.

2008 (Freshman):
In his first year with Pacific, Berolzheimer tested out a variety of roles from the mound and led the entire pitching staff in appearances with 25. He spent the bulk of his time in relief and at the end of the season topped all Tigers with three saves, as well as finishing 12 games for the Tigers. Thomas's three saves came on May 7 against Santa Clara (11-7), April 29 vs. San Francisco (10-6) and Mar. 2 against Washington (7-4) -- which happened to be the longest outing of the year. In three innings against the Huskies, Thomas did not allow an earned run, struck out six batters and lowered his ERA to 1.59 after the first three games of the season. He finished fourth overall in strikeouts with 31.

High School:
Thomas graduated from St. Mary's High School in Stockton, Calif. in 2007. Over three seasons, Berolzheimer was a part of a Rams team that posted a 66-24 overall record and an impressive 34-6 league mark. Thomas closed out his senior season with a 2.17 ERA in 54.2 innings. Finishing with a 6-3 record, Berolzheimer was an All-Tri City Athletic League First Team pitcher in 2007. In addition to his pitching, Berolzheimer spent time at second and third base for St. Mary's.

Personal:
Thomas Berolzheimer is the son of Charles and Ginger Berolzheimer. He has one brother, Philip (22), who played water polo for the Tigers and graduated in 2009. In his third year at Pacific, Thomas is a business major with intentions to own his own business some day.
