2005 (Junior):

One of the Tigers' clubhouse leaders, Brindza moved from the infield to the outfield midway through the 2005 season. Will finished the season with a .270 average, nine doubles and 19 RBI. Despite seeing time in both right, left and at first base, Brindza made just three errors. Brindza led the team with 14 two-hit contests in 2005. Will closed the season on an 11-game hitting streak as he was 15-for-42 (.357) during the final 11 contests. Brindza's biggest hit of the season came in the Tigers' 8-3 win over UC Irvine on May 9 as he belted a three-run triple in the bottom of the first inning to stake the Tigers to a 3-0 lead. Brindza's best game of the season came eight days earlier as he was 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Pacific's 10-4 win over UC Riverside. Brindza's three hits were a season-high. Brindza had two hits and a run scored in the Tigers' 9-4 loss to No. 2 Cal State Fullerton on Apr. 17. Will had his second two-hit game as a Tiger, 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI, belting his first home run in Pacific's 19-12 loss to Washington on Mar. 10. Brindza picked up his first career hit with the Tigers in Pacific's 7-5 win over UCLA on Feb. 26 and then had his first career two hit game, going 2-for-5 with two runs, in the Tigers' 10-9 win over UCLA on Feb. 27.

Junior College:

Brindza joined the Tigers after two seasons at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Wash; where he was a teammate of current Tiger Jake Ross. In two seasons, Brindza and Ross led the Red Devils to a combined 76-20 record and into the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) semi-finals in 2004. As a sophomore, Will finished 2004 with a .329 average including eight doubles, two home runs and 30 RBI. Following both the 2003 and 2004 seasons, Brindza was named to the All-NWAACC Second Team.

High School:

Brindza graduated from Sherwood High School in Sherwood, Ore. where he earned a combined nine letters in baseball (four), basketball (three) and football (two). Following his senior season, Will was named to Oregon's All-State First Team as well as the All-TVC (Tri Valley Conference) First Team. Brindza was also named the TVC Player of the Year in 2002.

Personal:

William Brindza is the son of David and Faith Brindza. Will has one brother, Abraham (30). In his second year at Pacific, Will is a political science major and hopes to attend law school and coach baseball.
