Turned in a 7-0 season season on the mound at Oak Ridge High School with an ERA under 1.00. Helped the Trojans to a 27-game win streak, earning All-League and All-Metro honorable mention honors. Also saw time in the outfield for head coach Todd Melton. A two-sport athlete, Cantaloube also earned three letters in basketball before focusing on baseball as a senior.
