Junior College: Harper comes to Pacific after two seasons at Delta College in Stockton, Calif. where he played for former Tiger Jim Yanko `91. In his two seasons with the Mustangs, Harper helped guide Delta JC to consecutive fourth place finishes in the Bay Valley East League (BVEL). As a sophomore, Harper finished the 2004 season with 30 RBI, two home runs and a .295 average. Following the season, he was named to the All-BVEL Second Team. High School: Harper graduated from Shadle Park High School in Spokane, Wash. As a Highlander, Harper earned a combined six letters in baseball (three) and football (three). On the diamond, Harper finished his senior season with a .455 batting average and posted a .510 average as a junior. In each of his final two seasons at Shadle Park HS, Jerin was named to the All-GSL (Greater Spokane League) Team. Personal: Jerin Harper was born on June 7, 1983 and is the son of Glen Harper and Linda Spalding. In his first year at Pacific, Jerin is a sport science major. |
