2010 (Redshirt Sophomore):
Appearing in three games during his return to Pacific, Aaron tallied one hit and one run the three at-bats. Hassel's only hit and run of the year came against Cal State Bakersfield on May 15, in addition to five putouts as a catcher. Aaron also saw time against Bradley on March 13 and also No. 15 California on April 21. He finished out the season with a .333 batting average, .500 on base percentage and also a .333 slugging percentage in three games played.

Previous School (Cosumnes River College):
Hassel spent his freshman year at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento, Calif., as the Hawks compiled a 28-15 overall record and went 14-7 in the Big 8 Conference. Appearing in 23 of the Hawks' 46 games in 2009, Aaron posted a .120 batting average complete with three hits and tallied five RBI. Hassel also drew five walks to bring his on-base percentage to .385. From behind the plate, the catcher logged 64 putouts.

Aaron redshirted his first year at Pacific and spent time as the bullpen catcher.

High School:
Hassel graduated from Campbell Hall High School in North Hollywood, Calif. in 2007. As a Viking, Aaron was a First Team All-Alpha League member following the 2007 season. During his high school career, Hassel posted a .356 batting average. He also earned the comeback player of the year award in 2007.

Personal:
Aaron Hassel was born in Los Angeles, Calif., and is the only child of Cliff and Cindy Hassel. In his third year at Pacific, Aaron a sports management major.
