High School: Leigh graduated from Pomona High School in Arvada, Colo. in 2004. Bobby helped lead the Panthers to a 19-5 record last season and a 22-4 mark in 2003. As a junior, Bobby and the Panthers captured the 2003 Colorado 5A State Championship as Leigh finished the year with a .398 average, 30 runs scored and 39 RBI. He connected for 10 home runs, placing him second in the state in 2003. Following his junior year, Leigh was an All-State selection and entered his senior season as a `Louisville Slugger' Pre-Season All-American. In 2004, Leigh posted a .361 average with seven home runs and 32 RBI. Personal: Robert Leigh was born on March 7, 1986 and is the son of Bob Leigh and Kelly Lemley. Bobby has one sister, Stacey (18). In his first year at Pacific, Bobby has not yet declared a major. |
