2007 (BYU):

Mike McKeever comes to Pacific after spending the 2007 seasons at BYU. McKeever appeared in 22 games, including 12 starts last season. Mike finished the season with a .261 batting average with 12 hits, one home run and eight RBI.

Junior College:

Mike played at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, Calif. during the 2006 season, where he was a member of the Deans' List.

High School:

McKeever graduated from University of San Diego High School in 2005, where he was a three-time letter winner. Mike played in the Area Code Games with the Milwaukee Brewers and for the Seattle Mariners Scout Team. McKeever played in the CIF Championship game and was named MVP for hitting a home run and a triple, while collecting four RBI and scoring two runs. After posting a .412 average as a senior, Mike earned All-CIF recognition, All-Western League honors and was selected All-North San Diego County team. In addition, McKeever made the Union Tribune All-Academic Team.

Personal:

Mike McKeever is the son of Michael and Diane McKeever. Athletic excellence runs in Mike's family as cousins Mike and Marlin McKeever played football for USC and cousin Randy Sobek played baseball for Whittier College. In his first year at Pacific, Mike is majoring in communication.
