Prior to Pacific (Seward Community College, 2009-10)
Jared Wagner appeared in 11 games with six starts at Seward Community College in 2010. Posted a 2-4 record with a 5.55 ERA in 35.1 innings pitched. Struckout 15 batters and posted one complete game. Wagner threw in 12 games as a freshman in 2009 recording a 3-0 record and picking up one save. He threw 19.1 innings in his first season for the Saints posting a 6.16 ERA while striking out 12 opposing batters. His best outing of the season came against rival Garden City when he threw 4 innings without giving up an earned run while striking out 2 and not walking a batter. Throwing mainly out of the Saints bullpen, Wagner was used as a long man last season throwing two or more innings in 6 of his 12 appearances.
High School
Attended high school at De La Salle, and played under coach Eric Borba for three seasons. Wagner was an honorable mention All-State performer and was chosen to both the Perfect Game and Area Code Showcases in California. Wagner is a two-time NCS Scholar Athlete.
