2010 (Freshman):
Wild used his redshirt option during the 2010 season.
High School:
A 2009 graduate of Mt. Whitney High School in Visalia, Calif., Wild closed out his career with a 19-5 record and a 2.10 ERA during his senior season. At the end of his senior year, Wild had been named All-West Yosemite League, First Team All-County and Second Team All-State. One year prior, Wild finished his junior season with an 11-3 record and a 1.65 ERA. Andrew tossed 89 innings in 2008, recording 139 strikeouts and allowing only 37 walks. Andrew was rewarded by earning a spot on the All-Yosemite League First Team and an All-State Second Team selection.
Personal:
Andrew Andrew Wild was born in Bakersfield, Calif., and is the son of Mark and Dayna Wild. He has one older sister, Jennifer (20). When not playing baseball, Andrew enjoys ping pong, bowling and playing basketball. In his second year at Pacific, Wild is a communication major who wants to play baseball after college.
