2005 (Junior): Ryan appeared in 21 games, including 12 starts as a reserve infielder for the Tigers in 2005. Wilmer finished the season with a .273 average, 12 hits, seven runs scored and seven RBI. Upon entering the lineup due to an injury to Justin Baum on Apr. 9 in the first game of a doubleheader with Cal Poly, Wilmer was 6-for-11 with three RBI and four runs scored in the next three contests. Ryan's best game of the season came against Nevada on Apr. 12 as he was 3-for-4 with an RBI and scored two runs in Pacific's 15-5 win over the Wolf Pack. He also was 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored in Pacific's 7-3 win over Cal Poly on Apr. 9 in the second game of the doubleheader. Wilmer got his first hit as a Pacific Tiger against Washington on Mar. 9 in Pacific's 15-2 loss. Junior College: Wilmer joined the Tigers after two seasons at College of San Mateo. Ryan helped lead the Bulldogs to a school record 27 wins in 2004 as the team finished the year 27-8. Ryan posted a .330 average in 2004 and a .265 mark in 2003. Over two seasons, Wilmer had 42 RBI and following his sophomore season, he was named to the All-Coast Conference Second Team. High School: Wilmer graduated from Serra High School in San Mateo, Calif. where he earned a combined four letters in baseball (two) and basketball (two). In his senior year, Ryan finished with a .500 batting average to claim the West Catholic Athletic League (WCAL) batting title. He also posted 39 RBI in 2001. Following the 2001 season, he was named to the All-WCAL First Team, to the All-CCS (Central California Section) First Team and the Padres' MVP.
