Stockton, Calif.- The Pacific Baseball team has announced they will name the Tigers' Student Athlete of the Year Award in memory of former Tiger Ballpark Icon, Mikey Thomson.

Mikey passed away suddenly on Jan. 6.

The award will now be named the Mikey Thomson Student Athlete of the Year Award.

Past winners of the award are Daniel Holley (2006) and Brett Manning (2005).
