
Pacific Baseball to Host Three Summer Camps
May 14, 2007 Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific baseball program will host three camps during the summer of 2007, including two session of the Tigers' annual all skills camp. The Tigers will host three age group sessions. The camps provide a great learning experience for young athletes who want to improve their baseball skills. Pacific Baseball Camps will entail the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, pitching, base running and the specifics of each campers selected position. The camp is directed by University of the Pacific head coach, Ed Sprague. Sprague will be assisted by Pacific assistant coaches, local high school and junior college coaches as well as current Pacific baseball players will also assist with the camp. A certified athletic trainer will be on site at all times during the camp. Enrollment will be limited to ensure a player to coach ratio of 8-to-1. In addition to individual instruction, each camper receive a t-shirt for their participation. Pacific's Annual All-Skills Camp (8-13 years) will feature two sessions this summer. SESSION 1: June 26-29, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The Tigers' other camp is for high school athletes and is co sponsored by NIKE.
