Junior College: James comes to Pacific after two seasons with Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif. ... A shooting guard for the Wolverines, Doran led Sierra to a 21-10 record as a freshman and a 20-10 record last season ... In his first season of play, James averaged 19.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game en route to his selection to the All-Big 7 Team ... He followed his freshman season by averaging 20 points, five rebounds and five assists per game in his sophomore season ... In addition, Doran shot over 50% from behind the arc and 90% from the free-throw line in 2006-07 ... For the second consecutive season, James garnered All-Big 7 honors for his play ... He will be competing for the starting two guard position on our team and I think he will be a great contributor to our team."
