Jamie Holmes begins his first year at Pacific as Coordinator of Men's Basketball Operations.

He oversees team travel, all community outreach programs, assists the coaching staff with academic services and coordinates film exchange duties. Included among his community duties is the Readers Watch Tigers Program, aimed at raising literacy rates at the elementary level in the San Joaquin Valley.

Holmes graduated from Santa Clara University in 2001, after playing three years for the Broncos. As a senior, he ranked second in the West Coast Conference in rebounding and eighth in scoring on the way to an All-WCC First Team award. He played professionally in Uruguay, Holland and Australia after his career at Santa Clara. He returned to the Broncos last year, serving as the Director of Basketball Operations in 2006-07.

"We're excited to have Jamie join our program," said Thomason. "He brings a lot of experience as a player, with his time at Santa Clara and overseas. His enthusiasm and knowledge will make us all better."
