Solomon comes to Pacific by way of Redlands Community College in El Reno, Oklahoma. Horsechief averaged 11.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in his second year at Redlands for coach Steve Eck He was an All-Bi State League selection during his senior year after leading his team to a 27-6 record. Solomon graduated from Tahlequah Sequoyah High School in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Horsechief led his team to the State Championship during his junior campaign, while earning NEO Lakes conference MVP honors. During his senior season he once again was named league MVP honors while pitching in 15.9 points, eight assists, six rebounds and four steals a game. He competed in basketball, football, baseball, track, and cross country for the Indians, earning All-State selections in both football and basketball during his senior campaign. Personal:
Solomon Lamont Horsechief was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is the son of Sam and Debra Horsechief, and has a brother Mario who is currently playing professional basketball overseas. Solomon is a Sport Science major in his first year at Pacific. |
