Rancho Bernardo High School • Alex looks to make an immediate impact for the Tigers in 2007-08. He should step in as a highly touted recruit and challenge for a spot in the traveling rotation. A resident of San Diego, Grieb attended Rancho Bernardo High School where he was named his schools Most Outstanding Athlete during his senior season. Holding most of the golf records at his high school Grieb is looking to set some new ones at Pacific. Dating back to last season Alex has finished second in three straight California Junior Tour tournaments. He was a member of Junior America's Cup in 2005 and the team that won in 2006. He was the San Diego Player of the Year in 2005; placing tenth at Junior Worlds.

Personal • Alex Grieb is the son of Bill and Mary Grieb. In his first year at Pacific, Alex will begin his major in Sports Management.
