Pacific Finishes U.S. Intercollegiate In 16th Place

Stanford, Calif. - The Pacific men's golf team completed play at the U.S. Intercollegiate, hosted by Stanford University, in 16th place on Sunday, April 17. The Tigers finished 53 strokes behind tournament champion, USC, who finished with an 846, +6.

Senior Andrew Bostrom (Lynden, Wash.) paced the Tigers in the final round, firing off an even par, 70, to rebound from the first day. Bostrom moved up into a tie for 29th overall as he finished with at 10-over, 220. Not far behind, senior Matt Kern (Castro Valley, Calif.) finished at 13-over, 223, to end in a tie for 39th.

The Tigers will look to keep their NCAA hopes alive as they play in the Big West Championships, the final scheduled tournament of the season. Play begins on April 25.
