Long Beach, California - Pacific sophomore Patrick Kucich, fresh off leading the Tigers at the Prestige at PGA West just days before one-upped his game to finish ninth at the Del Walker with consecutive rounds of 68-72-69. The Tigers also got solid contribution from Alex Grieb (-2) to finish in fourth at the Long Beach State hosted event.

Playing at the Par 71, Virginia Country Club, the Tigers got off to a good start in the morning of Day One and stormed up the leaderboard in the afternoon, shooting a 276; just one-stroke off the programs career best for one round.

Following Kucich's 209 and Grieb's 211 the Tigers had two more sophomores finish in 29th at 216; Alex Johnson and TJ Bordeaux. Freshman Robert Perrott, playing in his first full tournament for the Tigers posted a 69 during his second round and took 38th.
