Indianapolis, Indiana - Senior Thomas Petersson has been selected to compete in the 2007 NCAA Championships on May 17-19. Petersson was the sixth individual selected in the West Region and will compete at Arizona State's Karsten Golf Course.

Thomas, an All Big West First Team selection this season, will be making his first appearence at the NCAA Regionals. He led the Tigers this past season with a 73.0 stroke average over 12 tournaments and finished the year with a third place finish at the Big West Championship and 14 rounds under par.

Improving over last season's Big West All-Conference Honorable Mention selection Petersson will represent the Big West along with the UC Irvine team and Cal Poly's Geoff Gonzalez.

The East Regional will be held at the Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharetta, Georgia and the Central Regional is at Rich Harvest Farms in Grove, Illinois. The NCAA Finals will be held at Golder Horseshe Golf Club in Williamsburg, Virginia from May 30 - June 2.
