High School:

Danny attended Fairfield Prep in Fairfield Conn. In his senior year the Jesuits finished 15-0 and second in the state. A three-time individual conference champion, Danny was a three time all-state swimmer, a three-time all-conference swimmer, and twice won the coaches' award. Platow earned four varsity letters and served as the captain for the Jesuits during his senior season. He also received All American accolades in the 200 meter relay as a senior.

Personal:

Daniel Platow was born in New York, NY., and is the son of Bill and Maura Marden. He has two siblings, Bart (16) and David (20), who is also a member of the Tigers swim team. Danny has not declared a major in his second year at Pacific.
