At Pacific In 2003-04, Jon picked up season and career best times in seven different events. Jon had a career meet at the Big West Conference Championships as he swam to a career best and team best time in the 400 IM (3:59.16, fourth in school history), while picking up individual championships in the 200 IM and 400 IM. He also registered season best times in the 800 Free Relay (6:38.53), 200 IM (1:50.43), 50 Free (22.60), and 200 Back (1:55.12) at the meet. His 50 Free time was a new personal best. In the 2002-03 season, Radcliff had top times in the 200 Back (1:52.59) and the 200 Free (1:40.49) at the Big West Conference Championships and helped the Tigers repeat as champions in 2003. The versatile Radcliffe contributed during the 2001-02 in the 100 Back and 200 Fly. Jon set personal best times in the 200 Free and 1000 Free with times of 1:40.95 and 10:13.53 in his first season at Pacific. He helped the Tigers score at the Big West Championships in the 200 Back with a time of 1:54.47 in 2002. High School Jon attended Folsom High School in Folsom, Calif., graduating in 2001. He earned four letters as a Bulldog and was named MVP of his team in each of his final three seasons. In his senior season, Jon was sectional champion in the 200 Free. Personal Jonathan Radcliff was born on Aug. 17, 1981, in Sacramento, Calif., and is the son of Robert and Barbie Radcliff. Jon is a mechanical engineering major in his fourth year at Pacific. |
