At Pacific During the second half of the 2003-04 season, Chris came on strong to help the Tigers finish second at the Big West Championships. He ended the season with season best times in the 100 Back (51.53, career best), 200 Back (1:54.00), 400 IM (4:11.93), 200 Medley Relay (1:30.89, first at BWC), and 400 Medley Relay (3:21.55), all registered at the Big West Championships. Chris looked to continue his success and help Pacific defend their title in 2002-03. Raimondi scored points for the Tigers at the Big West Championships in 2002-03. He finished with a 100 back time of 52.05 and a 200 Back time of 1:52.03. In his first season at Pacific, Raimondi entered the Pacific record book in the 200 Back and the 400 IM with times of 1:54.40 and 4:09.16 in 2001-02. Both times were recorded at the 2002 Big West Conference Championships. High School Chris attended Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, Calif., where he earned four letters in swimming. As a member of the Peaks, Raimondi was named MVP of his squad in each of his four seasons. Personal Christopher Raimondi was born on Nov. 13, 1983 in Santa Clara, Calif., and is the son of John and Julie Raimondi. Chris is a biology major in his fourth year at Pacific. |
