Fall 2007 (Senior): Kakar finished the 2007 tournament season with a record of 0-2 in singles play, and he posted a record of 0-1 in doubles action.
Spring 2007 (Junior): Kakar finished the spring with a singles record of 0-4 in 2007. He played twice at the No. 4 position, once at the No. 5 position, and once at the No. 6 position.
Fall 2006 (Junior): Kakar did not play in the tournament season due to a back injury.
Spring 2006 (Sophomore): Austin was a combined 3-8 in singles competition and 0-3 in doubles play. Kakar's best victory of the season came on Mar. 19, as he defeated Dartmouth's Rashaad Elder-Bush, 6-1, 6-2.
Fall 2005 (Sophomore): Kakar was 1-3 in singles action during the fall of 2005. He was a combined 2-2 in doubles action with two partners.
Spring 2005 (Freshman): Austin was a combined 2-14 at both the No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions as a freshman. In doubles action, Kakar competed with two partners, posting an 0-2 mark.
Fall 2004 (Freshman): Kakar posted a 2-4 singles record during the fall tournament season of 2004, his first semester with the program. Austin advanced to the Flight C singles quarterfinals at the Santa Clara Bronco Classic. Kakar teamed with two doubles partners for a combined 1-4 record.
High School: Kakar was a 2004 graduate of Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Ariz. As a Firebird, Austin was an all-state selection each of his four seasons as a tennis letterwinner and twice won the state doubles championship.
Personal: Austin Kakar is the son of Tony and Casi Kakar and has one younger brother, Drake (17). Austin is a business major in his fourth year at Pacific.
