Spring 2008 (Sophomore):

Oliphant continued to gain valuable experience during the second half of his sophomore season, competing in 10 individual matches. He served as the main player from the No. 6 spot and went 2-8 on the season. In doubles action, Chase partnered up with two different teammates going 0-1 with Renan Delsin and 0-1 with Pedro Toledo.

Fall 2007 (Sophomore):

In his second tournament season with the Tigers, Chase finished the fall with a record of 1-1 in singles action and completed doubles play with a record of 0-1.

Spring 2007 (Freshman):

Oliphant was a combined 2-14 in singles competition and 0-3 in doubles play in the spring of 2007. His two victories came at the No. 5 position against Kyle Barrett of Northern Colorado and Igor Vuckovic of Montana State - Bozeman.

Fall 2006 (Freshman):

During his first semester at Pacific, Chase was 1-4 in the tournament season as a singles player. In doubles action, Oliphant was a combined 2-4 with two different partners.

High School:

Chase graduated from Horizon High School in Indio, Calif. During high school, Oliphant took several courses over the internet to allow him to play tennis around the world. From 2005 to 2006, Chase played on the ITF Pro Circuit and was ranked 384 in the U.S.A.'s Top 500 List. Oliphant maintained his amateur status as he did not accept any of his winnings. Despite missing so much class time, Oliphant was student of the month in March of 2005 and January of 2006 and graduated second in his class at Horizon HS.

Personal:

Chase Oliphant was born in Palm Springs and is the son of Richard and Debra Oliphant. When he is not playing, Oliphant is also an accomplished professional racquet technician. He has strung for players such as: Nikolay Davydenko, Guillermo Coria, Tommy Robredo, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Nicolas Kiefer, Gaston Gaudio, David Ferrer, Jaun Ignacio Chela, Youzhny Mikhail. In his third year at Pacific, Chase is planning to major in business and computer science. After school, he plans to play professional tennis and further his career in business and computer science.
