Spring 2005 Starke joined the Tigers prior to the spring dual match season in 2005.

High School: Mortiz Starke graduated from Forsyth Country Day Schhol in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 2005. As a senior, Starke led the Horse to a 13-0 record and the North Carolina State Championship. In singles play at Forsyth Country day, Starke was a combined 23-9 over two seasons.

Personal: Mortiz Starke was born in Bamberg, Germany. He is the son of Andrea and Barbara Starke and has one sister, Meike (16). In his first year at Pacific, Mortiz in majoring in business.
