Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Pacific men's tennis team opened play at the ITA All-American Pre-Qualifiers on Sept. 29, as Moritz Starke (Bamberg, Germany) and David Gonzalez (Guayaquil, Ecuador) advanced to third round play, after they both won second round matches.

In the first round of the tournament, Artem Gramma (Krivoj Roj, Ukraine) was the only Tiger who saw action as Starke and Gonzalez received byes. Gramma fell to J.C. Whitner of Miami 7-6, 7-6.

In second round action, Starke and Gonzalez both won their matches to advance to the third round, which will start tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. Starke defeated David Rosenfeld of Miami 6-3, 6-3 and Gonzalez defeated James Eason of Citadel 6-2, 6-3.

Starke's third round match will be played at 9:00 tomorrow morning, while Gonzalez's match will be played at 10:00 a.m.

David Gonzalez (PAC) def. James Eason (CIT) 6-2, 6-3

First Round:
