Tulsa, Oklahoma - Moritz Starke (Bamberg, Germany) and David Gonzalez (Guayaquil, Ecuador) of the Pacific men's tennis team competed in the ITA All-American Pre-Qualifier event in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Sept. 30. After advancing from second round play yesterday, Gonzalez was eliminated from the tournament in the third round, while Starke advance to the fourth round before suffering elimination.

In third round action, Gonzalez fell to Sebastian Sorrano of East Tennessee State by scores of 6-2 and 7-2, while Starke advance to fourth round play by defeating Adolfo Solares of SMU 6-3, 6-3. In the fourth round, Starke fell to Rob Mckenzie of Oklahoma 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.

The Pacific men's tennis team will be back in action on Oct. 2 at the ITA All-American Pre-Qualifiers in Tulsa, Oklahoma, when they will start doubles play.
