Berkeley, Calif. - Freshman Artem Gramma (Krivoj Roj, Ukraine) advanced to the Semifinals of the Flight B Championship at the Chandler Cup on Saturday, Oct. 27.

In his only singles match on Saturday, Gramma defeated Connor Olson on Sonoma State, 6-2, 6-1. With the victory, Gramma advanced to face Washington's Ryo Sekiguchi (2) at 10:30 a.m.

In other action, Gramma and fellow freshman David Gonzalez (Guayaquil, Ecuador) dropped their quarterfinal match against Sacramento State's Anton Stryhas and Kiryl Harbatsiuk, 8-3.

Gramma is the lone Tiger still alive to compete on Sunday, Oct. 28 at the Chandler Cup in Berkeley, Calif.
