Moraga, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Gael Classic, which was supposed to run from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2, has been canceled due to the rainy weather. The men's tennis fall tournament season comes to a conclusion as this was supposed to be the final scheduled event of the year.

More than 10 universities had signed up to compete, several of whom would be flying and staying in hotels. With consideration for those who had to travel, Saint Mary's canceled the tournament yesterday, Oct. 29 with enough time for teams to cancel their travel arrangements.

The 2009 men's tennis season kicks off with its first home match of the season against Fresno Pacific on Jan. 31, 2009.
