2007 (RS Junior)
Blake participated in 34 games for the Tigers in 2007, playing in 19 matches and earning one start. Gentry finished the season with 50 kills on 92 attempts for a .348 hitting percentage. Blake hit for a season-high 10 kills against USC on Jan. 5, at the Elephant Bar Invitational Tournament. Gentry also committed just three errors in the match as the Tigers defeated the Trojans, 3-1.

2006 (RS Sophomore)
Gentry appeared in 40 games for the Tigers, seeing time in 19 matches while making six starts. Gentry was third on the Tigers in blocks, averaging 0.90 per game, while recording 60 kills on 119 attacks. He recorded a career high eight kills against UC Santa Barbara on March 11th, and a career high seven blocks against UC Irvine on April 7th.

2005 (RS Freshman)
Blake appeared in six games for the Tigers, collecting nine kills on 18 attempts. He also served four aces during his freshman season.

High School
Blake graduated from Aliso Niguel High School in Aliso Viejo, Calif. On the court for the Wolverines, Blake led the squad in kills, blocks and service aces, earning him First Team All-Sea View League honors in his junior year and Second Team All-League during his senior season. He was named both the captain of the team and the team MVP in both seasons and off the court was received academic distinctions as he graduated with a 3.95 GPA. In 2003, Blake helped the Balboa Bay VB Club win the bronze medal at the Junior Olympics.

Blake is the son of Steven and Vickie Gentry. In his fifth year at Pacific, he is majoring in engineering physics.
