High School
Scot graduated from Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus, where he was a two year letter winner for the Warriors. Scot was an Honorable Mention Interscholastic League of Hawai'i selection during his senior year while playing both setter and defensive specialist for Pono Ma'a and Mike Among. Kane was a member of the Asics Rainbow's Hawai'i club team that earned a bronze medal at the Junior Olympics.

Personal
Scot Ka'uhaneokekai Crowningburg Kane is the son of Eric and Janis Kane. He has an older sister, Rachel who played on Gonzaga's women's basketball team. Scot is a sports science major in his second year at Pacific.
