2007 (Junior)
In his breakout season for the Tigers, Pekka played in all 118 games for the Tigers, starting each of the Tigers' 31 matches. His team-high 468 kills as well as his team high 3.97 kills per game average earned Pekka, Second-Team AVCA All-American honors, as well as Honorable Mention All-MPSF honors. Seppanen finished the year with a team leading 211 digs and a 1.79 digs per game average. Seppanen led the Tigers with six double-doubles.

2006 (Sophomore)
Pekka saw action in 97 games in his first season at Pacific, starting all 28 matches the Tigers competed in. Seppanen was third on the team in kills, averaging 3.05 per game. For the season, Pekka connected on 296 kills on 703 attacks, recording a career high 20 kills against Cal State Northridge on March 10th. Seppanen earlier in the season recorded a career high 17 digs against Northridge on January 28th.

High School
Seppanen graduated in 2003 from Kastelli High School in Oulu, Finland. His high school team won the Finland National Championship in 2000 and 2003, finished second in 2002 and third in 2001. Seppanen was also a member of the Finnish League and the Pielaveden Sampo. Additionally he was a member of the Finnish Junior National Team from 1998-2003. He was also a member of the Finnish Army, a second sergant in Reconnaissance.

Personal
Pekka Seppanen is the son of Olli and Seija Seppanen. He has a brother Jarkko (26) and a sister Anna-Maija (17). He is a business major in his second year at Pacific.
