Thomas used his redshirt option during the 2008 season.

High School
Thomas graduated from Calvary Chapel High School in Costa Mesa, Calif., where he lettered in both basketball and volleyball. In 2006, Thomas earned Second Team All-Pacific Coast League honors and in 2007 he received First Team All-Pacific Coast League Honors. Thomas played club volleyball for Saddleback, Balboa Bay Volleyball Club, and Riptides OC Volleyball Club.

Personal
Thomas Woodward is the son of Phil and Cam Woodward, and he has one brother, Andrew. In his second year at Pacific, Thomas is majoring in film studies and business.
