Santa Barbara, Calif. - The Pacific men's volleyball team lost its season opening game to Cal State Northridge 3-0 in the first round of the University of California Santa Barbara/Elephant Bar Collegiate Invitational. The Tigers fell in three straight sets to the Matadors, 22-30, 25-30 and 18-30, Friday, January 6.

With the loss the Tigers move into the consolation bracket and will take on #7 seed Southern Cal at 7 p.m. tonight.
