Tigers Fall to Alberta and Stanford at Dino Cup

Pacific battles Stanford in the final match of the Dino Cup later today.

Calgary, Alberta - The Pacific Tigers men's volleyball team fell to 0-3 at the Dino Cup to with losses to the University of Alberta and Stanford on Saturday, Oct. 20. Alberta defeated the Tigers with game scores of 25-23, 25-17 and 28-26, while Stanford won 25-15, 25-17, 24-26 and 25-23.

Senior Pekka Seppanen (Kuopio, Finland) led the Tigers with 10 kills and 13 digs against Alberta. Senior Simon Chen-Byerley (Northfield, Ill.) added nine kills for the Tigers.

In the match against Stanford, Seppanen again led the Tigers with 17 kills. Sophomore libero Mark Bauhs (Danville, Calif.) had six digs and junior Clay Ostrander (Wheaton, Ill.) added six blocks for Pacific.

Pacific is next in action at the Stanford Tournament on Nov. 17
