Woodland, Calif. Pacific junior Pekka Seppanen (Kuopio, Finland) earned Honorable Mention All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men's volleyball honors, as announced April 19th by MPSF Executive Director Al Beaird.

Seppanen finished the year with 468 kills, 40 service aces and 211 digs, all of which led the Tigers for the 2007 campaign. In the MPSF ranks, Pekka finished ninth in kills (3.98 per game), sixth in aces (0.32 per game) and ninth in points (4.68 per game).

In Pacific's single season record book, Seppanen now holds the sixth most kills in a season, the fifth most digs, and the sixth most service aces in a single campaign.

On the career charts, Seppanen is seventh all-time in service aces (66), ninth all-time in digs (396), and is eight kills away from reaching Pacific's top ten in just two seasons of action.

This marks the first time that Seppanen, a two-time MPSF player of the week, was recognized by the conference with a post-season honor.
