2009 (Sophomore): Koning appeared in all 31 games for the Tigers and led the team notching 50 goals. Tom finished his sophomore campaign recording 22 steals and 12 assists. He scored a career high eight goals against Chapman at the Inland Empire Classic. Koning also recorded two goals in Pacific's upset over No. 6 Long Beach State.

2008 (Freshman): Appearing in 24 games in his first season at Pacific, Tom scored five goals on 22 shots. He finished the year with five assists and 11 steals.

High School: Tom graduated from Poway High School in Poway, Calif., where he was a six-time letterwinner in water polo and swimming. Koning was named offensive most valuable player of his team in 2005, as well as in 2006. In addition to a prestigious club career where he participated in the Junior Olympics, Tom received All-American Honorable Mention honors in 2007. Additionally that year, Koning was named Player of the Year, and was named to the Div. 1 Senior All-Star Team.

Personal: Thomas Robert Koning II is the son of Tom and Mary Koning, and has two siblings, older brother John, and younger brother Peter. In his third year at Pacific, Tom is studying business administration.
