
THREE TIGERS EARN ALL-MPSF ACADEMIC HONORS

WOODLAND, Calif. - The Pacific men's water polo team had three players earn All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Academic honors on Tuesday, Jan. 4. Junior Will McLaughlin (El Cajon, Calif.) and sophomores Kenny Yamamoto (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) and Clint McLaughhlin (El Cajon, Calif.) received the recognition.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.0 grade point average, completed one full academic year at the member institution prior to the season for which the award is being received, and competed in at least half of the team's contests.
Pacific finished the 2004 season with a 7-18 overall record. Clint McLaughlin finished the campaign with a career-high 20 goals in 25 games, while his brother, Will, netted nine goals in 22 contests. Yamamoto was a key player off the bench, ending the year with a career-best 10 goals.
