Courtney was a 2006 graduate of Rocklin High School in Rocklin, Calif., where she was a three-time letter-winner. In three varsity seasons, Bunz established herself as one of the top female athletes at Rocklin High School, earning her a spot in the school's athletic hall of fame. For her play on the court, Courtney was a two-time All-Sierra Foothill League First Team member as she led her Thunder into the CIF playoffs as both a junior and senior. During her senior campaign, Bunz posted 13.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game as Rocklin HS went 12-3 in league action. In addition to all-league honors, Courtney garnered numerous all-tournament selections and tournament MVP honors for her performances at the Galt High School tournament, the Warrior Shoot-out, the Presidents Cup and the Lady Trojan Toss-up, throughout her career. Off the court, Bunz excelled in the classroom as she was a four-time scholar athlete.

Personal:
Born in Roseville, Calif., Courtney Bunz is the daughter of Dan and Liz Bunz. Her father Dan was a two-time Super Bowl champion (XVI and XIX) with the 49ers, playing eight years in the NFL. She has one older sister, Ashley. In her first year at Pacific, Courtney is undeclared in her major plan of study.
