2007-08 (JUNIOR):
Coming back from a knee injury that sidelined her for the first four games of the season, Dawkins continued her work in the post for the Tigers as a junior, playing in 26 contests with 15 starts. As one of Pacific's top offensive threats, Karen posted 9.6 points per game on 46.3% shooting throughout the season, finishing third on the team in scoring despite the early injury. In addition to her points, Dawkins grabbed 6.0 rebounds per contest, third best on the team. Offensively, Dawkins posted four double-doubles on the year while scoring in double-digits 12 times including posting a season-high 25 points against Idaho on December 30. For her play that week, Karen earned co-Big West Player of the Week honors. Defensively, Karen finished sixth in the Big West in blocked shots posting 21 (0.81 per game) on the season.
2006-07 (SOPHOMORE):
Proving herself as one of the best in the Big West on the blocks, Dawkins earned her first all-conference selection when she was named to the honorable mention team. Dawkins completed her second season of work averaging a team-best 12.6 points per game in conference play while her overall season total was only slightly better at a team-high 13.5 points per contest, good enough for No. 10 in the conference. Karen finished the season ranked No. 3 in the conference in field goal percentage as she shot .483 (160-of-331) from the floor. In addition to scoring, Dawkins crashed the boards to the tune of 7.4 rebounds per game, which placed her at No. 6 in the conference. She also finished in the top-10 in blocks per game at 0.86 per contest, ranking her No. 5. For the year, Dawkins produced nine double-doubles while posting career-highs in points with 27 against UC Irvine on Jan. 13 and rebounds with 18 against Portland on Nov. 12. Her finest game, arguably, came in the Big West tournament as she posted 23 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks against Cal State Fullerton. In addition, Dawkins garnered two Big West Player of the Week awards during the year as she became the first Tiger to earn multiple POW's in the same season since 2002-03
2005-06 (FRESHMAN):
Seeing her first live action after redshirting her first year, Karen saw action in 25 contests in her second year. Coming off the bench for the Tigers, Dawkins averaged 4.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Despite limited time, Dawkins led the team with 19 blocks. Five times throughout the season Karen posted double-digit scoring efforts, tallying a career-high 13 points against Mercer on Nov. 26. In addition to the points, Karen blocked a season-best and team season-high three shots against the Bears. On Jan. 26, Dawkins pulled down a season-best 10 rebounds as the Tigers routed Cal Poly, 87-53.
2004-05 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN):
Karen used her redshirt option during the 2004-05 season.
