2004-05 (Sophomore): Dolezal appeared in 19 games for Pacific last season, scoring a combined eight points and grabbing 20 rebounds. Dolezal tied a career-high with four rebounds in Pacific's 69-50 loss to UC Davis on Feb. 28. Ashley had a career-high three points in the Tigers' 67-48 loss to Utah State on Jan. 13. Dolezal set a career-high with four rebounds in Pacific's 74-31 loss to Illinois on Dec. 11. 2003-04 (Freshman): Ashley played a reserve role for the Tigers in her first season at Pacific. Dolezal saw action in 12 of Pacific's 29 games last season. Ashley's first point as a Tiger came against #4 Stanford on Dec. 12th as she hit one of two free throws. Her career high in rebounds came two months later as she grabbed three boards against Idaho on Feb 12th. High School: Dolezal graduated from Mercy High School in Burlingame, California, in 2003. As a Crusader, Ashley was named team MVP following her senior season as she averaged 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds per game. An All-WBAL Honorable Mention selection in 2001-02 and 2002-03, Dolezal ranked eighth in San Mateo County in scoring during the 2002-03 season. In addition to basketball, Dolezal played three seasons of varsity volleyball for Mercy. Her versatility and athletic ability earned Ashley the Senior Athlete of the Year award in 2002-03. Personal: Ashley Dolezal is the daughter of Leon and Krystine Dolezal. In her third year at Pacific, Ashley is an communication major. |
