2005-06 (Junior):
In her first season at Pacific, Jerise burst on the Division I scene in her first game, scoring a career-high 23 points with seven rebounds against Texas Southern on Nov. 18. In all, Freeman posted seven double-digit scoring games, finishing the season with 185 points, fourth best on the team. She completed her first season averaging 6.9 points and 2.4 rebounds while playing in 27 games including 18 starts. Against Cal Poly on Jan. 26, Jerise posted 17 points and seven rebounds while also posting a career-best four assists and two blocks against the Mustangs. Two days later, Freeman scored 11 points and tallied four rebounds with two assists and two steals against perennial power UC Santa Barbara.

Junior College:
Before coming to Pacific, Freeman spent two seasons with the Lady Saints of Seward County College in Liberal, Kan. The Lady Saints posted a 3-1 record at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Tournament, finishing in fifth place among the nation's best junior college teams. In two seasons at Seward, Freeman, with fellow Tigers teammate Wyvonne Jones, helped lead the Lady Saints to a combined 67-8 record, including a 35 win season in 2004-05 that ranks as the second most successful season in school history. Freeman finished her final season at Seward with 108 assists, the third highest total on the team. In addition, Jerise averaged 5.0 PPG and 2.0 RPG in her second season.

High School:
Jerise was a 2003 graduate of Wichita Heights High School in Wichita, Kan., where she was a part of back-to-back Kansas state championship teams while earning four varsity letters. During her four seasons, Freeman, alongside of Jones, led the Falcons to an 83-14 overall record that included an impressive 8-1 record in state playoff games. Jerise was named the state championship tournament MVP her senior season after averaging 19.2 PPG against the state's top high school teams. For her play over the entire season, Freeman was named an honorable mention to the All-Kansas All-Classes team, while earning All-Class 6A Second Team honors and All-City team honors.

Personal:
Born in Wichita, Kan., Jerise Freeman is the daughter of Carissa Freeman. She has one younger sister, Jazmyn. In her second year at Pacific, Jerise is pursuing a degree in sociology with an emphasis in criminal justice.
