2006-07 (FRESHMAN):
In her first season of collegiate basketball, Jake made her mark at Pacific as she became just the 10th Tiger all-time since 1984 to be named to the all-freshman team in the Big West. In her inaugural campaign for Pacific, Kelly posted impressive numbers from the back court as she finished the regular season averaging 11.3 points per contest, second best on the team. Ten times during the season Jake went for 10 or more points in a game, hitting the 20-point mark twice as she posted her career-best of 21 points against both San Diego on Dec. 1 and Long Beach State on Feb. 3. In addition, Kelly grabbed 3.2 rebounds per game and dished out 2.9 assists per game on the season. On the year, Kelly finished as the only freshman in the top-15 in scoring average (15th, 11.3 ppg), and top-10 in assists (10th, 2.9 apg), steals (t7th, 1.7 spg), assist/turnover ratio (10th, 0.76). She also finished No. 1 in 3pt field goals per game averaging 2.26 per contest. Her 68 three-pointer field goals ranks as the fifth best single-season total in program history.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Jake was a 2006 graduate of Sacramento Waldorf in Fair Oaks, Calif., where she was a four-time letter-winner in both volleyball and basketball while also playing soccer and running track. One of the most distinguished athletes in California, Kelly finished her high school basketball career by being named the 2005-06 CalHiSports Player of the Year for Division 5. After four seasons, Kelly left Sacramento Waldorf second on the all-time career three point list in California having hit 444 during her career, three behind fellow Tiger Renee Roberts' career total of 447. A three-time All-Metro selection and four-time All-Central Valley Christian League selection, Kelly guided the Waves to a 26-4 overall record and a 16-0 undefeated league season, leading them to a No. 4 ranking in California last season as a senior. During her senior campaign, Kelly averaged 27.2 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game, 4.7 assists per game, and 7.1 steals per game. She also garnered all-league honors in volleyball in each of her four seasons on the court for the Waves and twice on the field as a junior and senior on the soccer field.
PERSONAL:
Born in Monroe, Wash., Jake Kelly is the daughter of Joy Kelly and Sandy Campbell. She has two siblings, Alex and Charlotte. In her second year at Pacific, Jake is undecided in a major plan of study.
