2006-07 (SOPHOMORE):
Playing in her first full season for the Tigers, Whitney saw action in all 30 games for Pacific while starting a team-best 29 contests. Despite being listed as the shortest forward in Division I basketball according to USA Today College Basketball Preview standing at just 5-8, Price finished the season with an impressive 7.1 rebounds per game average, good enough for No. 8 in the conference. Even more impressively, Whitney kept the Tigers' offensive game alive, finishing with 2.9 offensive rebounds per game, ranking her No. 2 in the conference. In addition to rebounding, Price posted 5.0 points per contest while dishing out 62 assists on the year. Defensively, Price tied for the team high in steals with 52. Price posted her first career double-double in 2006-07 as she hit a career-high with 11 points while grabbing 11 rebounds. She also added two steals and three assists in the Tigers' regular season finale against Cal Poly on Mar. 3.

2005-06 (FRESHMAN):
After beginning the season as a potential redshirt, Whitney was called into service midseason, making her first collegiate appearance against Sacramento State on Dec. 22. In all, Price saw action in 19 contests and made 12 starts in her first season of action. She made her first start against Cal State Northridge on Jan. 4 in the Tigers' Big West Conference opener. In the game, Whitney led the Tigers with her effort on the boards, pulling down 13 rebounds. She again posted a double figure rebounding effort against Cal Poly on Jan. 26, tallying 11 rebounds in the Tigers' victory. Against Long Beach State on Feb. 11, Whitney recorded season highs in points (7), three-pointers (2) and steals (4).

HIGH SCHOOL:
A graduate of Centennial High School in Las Vegas, Nev., Whitney was a four year letter-winner in basketball. In four seasons, Price lead the Bulldogs to four consecutive Nevada State titles, three regional championships and four division championships. During her career, Price averaged a double-double, posting 10 PPG while pulling down 10 RPG. In addition to her scoring and rebounding, Whitney averaged three assists, three steals and two blocks per game. After her senior season, Price was named a McDonald's All-American and to the Nevada All-State Team while being awarded her team's MVP award in 2003 and 2004. Off the court, Whitney's resume boasts four consecutive years of being named a scholar athlete. Moreover, she was awarded the Presidential Award of Academic Excellence and was a 2004 Nevada Girls All State Leadership recipient.

PERSONAL:
Born in Houston, Texas, Whitney Price is the daughter of Linda Price. She has two older siblings, Steve and LaTisha. In her third year at Pacific, Whitney is majoring in sociology.
