2006-07 (SOPHOMORE):
An integral part of the Tigers' bench in 2006-07, Roberts saw action in all 30 games for Pacific last season. Off the bench, Renee posted 3.6 points per games as she knocked down 32 three-pointers on the season, which accounted for all but four of her field goals. At 1.06 three-point field goals per game, Renee finished the year just outside the top-10 in distance shooting individually, but combined with her fellow sharp shooters to lead the conference with an impressive 6.43 per game as a team. Twice during the season Roberts went for double-figures, notching 12 points at Wichita State on Nov. 26 and against UC Santa
Barbara on Mar. 1, hitting a season-high four three-pointers in each game. In addition to her scoring, Renee posted 18 steals and 25 assists on the year.
2005-06 (FRESHMAN):
In her first season as a Tiger, Renee saw action in 25 contests with 19 starts. A scoring threat and a great backside rebounder, Roberts finished the season with averages of 8.4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game despite regularly being the shortest player on the court. Renee scored her first collegiate basket against UW-Green Bay on Nov. 25, not surprisingly a three-pointer. On the season, Roberts scored in double-figures 10 times, notching her first double-digit effort against No. 11 Stanford on Dec. 1 as she scored 11 points. As the Tigers closed out the non-conference season and began Big West play, Roberts went on a run of four straight games with double-figure scoring including an 11-point, nine-rebound effort against Cal State Northridge on Jan. 4 and a career-best 16-point night against UC Riverside on Jan. 7. Against Cal State Northridge on Feb. 25, Roberts caught fire from behind the arc, dropping in 5-of-7 three-pointers in the Tigers' loss.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Renee was a 2005 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Stockton, Calif., where she was a four-time letter-winner in
basketball. One of the most distinguished players to come out of California, Roberts helped lead the Rams to three
consecutive California State championships over her first three seasons. With Roberts in the backcourt, the Rams never lost a league game, going a perfect 56-0. Individually, Renee established herself as one of the best high school basketball players in the country. Roberts completed her career at St. Mary's as the all-time leader in career three-pointers for the state of California, finishing with a remarkable 447, shattering the previous record of 395. Over her senior season, Roberts knocked down 128 treys, a mark only outdone during her junior season when she put down a career best 148. For her career, Renee scored 1,750 points, averaging 12.2 PPG. Defensively, Roberts wreaked havoc in the backcourt, producing 101 steals during her senior season and 433 for her career, averaging just over 3.0 SPG. In each of her four seasons, Roberts was named to the All-SJAA (San Joaquin Athletic Association) First Team, and for each of the last three she garnered All-Section First Team honors. Off the court, Renee showed her prowess in the classroom as she was named to the St. Mary's honor roll.
