Justin Wilson begins his second season on the bench for the Tigers and fourth alongside of Head Coach Lynne Roberts.
For the Tigers, Wilson heads the Pacific's scouting efforts, breaking down game tape and developing scouting reports to compile game plans on all of Pacific's opponents. This season, Wilson will also be in charge of the development of Pacific's core of point guards. Along with coach Valavanis, Wilson will help implement and teach the Tigers' defense as well. During the summer months, Justin acted as the Director of Pacific's summer camps.
Prior to Pacific, Wilson spent three seasons as an assistant to Roberts at Chico State. As an assistant, Wilson was primarily responsible for the coaching and development of the Wildcats' post players. Additionally, Wilson was the team's video coordinator, facilitating tape exchange and providing scouting analysis of opposing teams.
Before joining Chico State's staff, Wilson was an assistant coach at Chico High School. He earned his bachelors degree in social science from Chico State in 2003 and his teaching credential in 2006.
