2007 (Sophomore):
Holcomb saw action in 14 contests during her sophomore season, including two starts. Kate's best performance came against the team she started her career against, Appalachian State. Holcomb notched her first career goal and first career assist in the Tigers' 7-1 win on Oct. 30. Holcomb's assist was a long entry pass from outside the circle to Kim Keyawa, just four minutes into the game. Her goal came nine minutes into the second half as Kate converted a penalty corner from Melody Demel and Sasha Larsen.

2006 (Freshman):
In her rookie season Kate provided depth to the Tigers, as she gained valuable experience at the collegiate level. Holcomb appeared in one game for Pacific in 2006, making first collegiate debut against Appalachian State in the Tigers' 6-0 win on Oct. 15.

High School:
Kate attended Archbishop Mitty High School, where she was a varsity letter winner three out of her four seasons with the Monarchs. In 2004 and in 2005 she received first team all league honors, and her team won back-to-back CCS championships. Kate was a four year US Field Hockey Futures Athlete, and in 2004 and 2005 she was a regional selection for the future athlete program. Throughout high school, she also played softball and competed in diving.

Personal:
Katie Marie Holcomb is the daughter of Ronald and Patricia Holcomb. She has one brother, Kyle (17). Katie is a business administration major, and she plans on working in interior design.
