
Campos Named to USA Field Hockey's Northern California Team
June 27, 2006 Stockton, Calif. - Pacific senior Vianney Campos (Guadalajara, Mexico) has been selected to the US Field Hockey's Northern California team; recognized as one of the nations' premier field hockey players. The USA Field Hockey's High Performance Training Centers are set up to groom and train potential National Team athletes. The sessions are divided into select regions around the country, allowing athletes to train close to home with the country's top coaches. Campos enters her senior season this fall for the Tigers, already holding school records in game, season and career scoring. Vianney led the Tigers to a first place regular season finish in the NorPac Conference and a second place finish in the NorPac Championship.
