Stockton, Calif.- Senior Kelly Miller (Monterey, Calif.) was awarded her second Player of the Week award on Thursday Oct. 23, as she was named to Player of the Week Honorable Mention by Womensfieldhockey.com. Miller saw action for the fist time this past weekend for the Tigers, after recovering from an injury earlier in the season. Miller put up a four-save performance against Appalachian State to give Pacific a 3-0 shutout over the Mountaineers. Miller improved on her first outing by posting six saves against Radford, including two late second-half grabs that pushed the Tigers over the top 2-1. Miller completed the weekend with her best appearance of the season, earning nine saves against the Lacers, on 10 penalty corners and 17 shots on goal, giving Pacific the 3-2 victory over Longwood. This is the second career player of the week award for Miller. Pacific will honor Miller and the rest of its seniors in its final NorPac home game on Sunday October 26, at Brookside Field in Stockton, Calif. at 3:00 pm.
